Welcome to TrueStar Goldens! We are a small hobby breeder located in the Rogue Valley. Medford Oregon is where we call home. We are truly passionate about Golden Retrievers and care deeply about the health issues that can affect this wonderful breed. As such, we believe in doing ALL clearances! All of our dogs have their hips & elbows cleared for hip and elbow dysplasia through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals at 24 months of age, as well as their hearts checked and cleared for any hereditary defects or abnormalities by a board certified veterinary Cardiologist, and their eyes checked by a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist as well. Ashley grew up in 4H and dog shows, and has now been actively competing in AKC and breeding Goldens for the better part of her life! An extreme amount of research goes in to each breeding to ensure to the best of our ability that it will be a strong pairing resulting in longevity, health, structure, soundness, & temperament alike. All of our dogs and puppies live in and are raised in our home so that they learn from the very beginning how to be a well behaved member of the family. We temperament test each litter as well as introduce exposure to lots of sounds and stimuli. We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America as well as the Pacific Rim Golden Retriever Club. We are active in the conformation ring and would be more then happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this beautiful, amazing breed!
