TrueStar’s Isn’t She Lovely “Beans’
Beans is everything I hoped for and more when we bred Esme to Volos! Born on August 1, 2024, and from the “British Royalty Litter” of Volos X Esme. She is a lovely example of the breed in both structure and demeanor. A snuggle bug and Retriever through and through, and such a happy girl at that! Her name is a conversation starter for sure as we originally named her “Lilibet” That was shortened to “Lilly” which of course morphed into “Lilly Beans.” She now answers more to “Beans” than “Lilly” and so we have just fully embraced her new name that she seems to have chosen for hersled! Beans is pointed from the puppy class and has two Major RWB under her belt already as well. She is such a FUN girl that loves the show ring and we cant wait to watch her shine!
Sterling & TrueStar’s Keep Your Eye on the Pies “Libby”
Libby girl came to join our family in November of 2020; hence her “Pie” themed name! Libby’s dam was a singleton puppy we bred from our Samson X Kenzie litter that went on to live with our dear friends Rose & Jim Scaggs in Alaska. Lydia attained her GCH, as well as all of her clearances so was bred to Blu. I flew out to evaluate the litter, and came home with Libby! She is a compact sweet little lady with personality galore. So very gentle and easy going. Our 12 year old daughter experienced her first dog show, showing Libby! Three blue ribbons were garnered that weekend as Libby was a perfect Angel, per usual!
TrueStar’s Holly Berry
“Holly”
Holly is the most perfect blend of her mama Cheddar, and her daddy Theo! She is mellow, inquisitive, and snuggly sweet, yet athletic and driven. Holly was born on December 7, 2021 and is from our “Christmas litter” of Theo X Cheddar. She has a beautiful headpiece, correct coat, and a soft gentle expression with such soulful eyes. Holly is pointed toward her AKC Championship, and we are excited to see what the future holds for this young beauty!

“Brûlée”
Our happy happy, Brûlée! Brûlée came to us from Wisconsin, from the Merit X Leche breeding; bred by Beth Johnson. Born on July 15th, 2020; Her grandma is the ever lovely “Chloe” who has the most All-Breed Best In Show wins of ANY female Golden Retriever in the breed’s history. Brûlée is so very smart, and loves to learn. She loves to fetch and retrieve, and is never far from my side around the house. We are excited for this pretty girl’s show career!

“Izzy”
Izzy has been a special addition here at TrueStar! Born on July 9th, 2022; Izzy was Co-Bred by myself & Michelle Stavich in CO who owns Izzy’s dam, Nadia. Izzy has an incredibly sweet, soft, eager to please, bouncy personality- she is SO fun! I see so much of her mama Nadia (and in turn, her grandpa Samson!) in her. “Primrose"
Primrose is a special girl with an incredibly big heart! Prim was born on February 16th 2023, and was from our “Movie Litter” out of Ford X Brulee. She was one of 13 puppies born, and has been making us smile ever since. Prim has a beautiful “Puppy like” face that is always capturing compliments everywhere she goes. She has been our oldest daughter’s constant companion, competing in 4H and training for service dog tasks. Goodness has she ever excelled at everything that has been asked of her! Prim LOVES obedience and all things training, she is so bright and eager to please, but most of all, she loves her people in that ever adoring, classically Golden way.
